Perfume Black Rose
Would you title this poem, please give me suggestions on how to improve?
Center the perfume of the black rose
unknown and hidden in the grove
standing steady through natures throws
where the heavens call peace and love.
In gloaming his love stays to never rove
for meadows need no time to thrive and grow
… effortless the music from above
center the perfume of the black rose
A moment precious, for us to stow
held in the arms blanketed, bare, blessed move
the stillness comfortable as we doze
unknown and hidden in the grove
the lips bow as to kiss not enough of-
wistful coo’s as we snooze
perfectly matched twined and wove
standing steady though natures throws.
I know you light the path brightly glow
Armed around the heart, encouraging the strove
Lots to mourn, write set out the woes
Where the heavens call peace and love
Scent in Midst or Scent Amidst the Throes (I believe you meant THIS ‘throes’) I really dig the metaphor it is very beguiling and seductive…I almost would like you to end it with the black rose line because it seems to over[power the peace and love
